TierUp
Sponsorship

Stand beside the standings.

TierUp ranks developers on work that took someone else’s approval, and resets every Monday. People come back to check where they landed. 5 slots sit either side of the board while they do, 10 in all.

One slot, one sponsorNo auctions, no rotation within a page view. A visitor sees your card, or they see somebody else’s.
A logo, a name, a lineThe same flat surface as everything else on the board. No brand takeovers, no colour, no motion.
Counted first-partyImpressions by page type and placement, from our own database. You get the number we bill from, not a screenshot of somebody’s dashboard.
The card

One mark, kept

A different product from the rails, counted separately.

It leaves the siteEvery rank produces an image built to be posted. One sponsor on it, in the bottom rail beside our own wordmark, marked as a sponsor. Never competing with the developer’s own numbers, and never tinted by your brand — the colour on a card means the league somebody is standing in.
You buy the week, not the impressionThe mark is chosen from the roster that was live on the Monday a week began. A flight ending on Thursday still owns that week’s cards.
And it stays thereA posted image is frozen with whatever mark it was made with, for as long as the post exists. Nothing can revise it later, including us. Cards keep working long after a campaign has ended.
Counted honestlyLink-preview crawlers refetch an image many times for a single post. Those are recorded separately and never appear in the number you are invoiced from.
The limits

What it will never be

Published for the same reason the scoring exclusions are. A list you can hold us to is worth more than a promise.

Where they appear

Rails, and a bar

1024px and wider — two rails, 5 slots eachPinned either side of the board, and still there at the bottom of it. They take their width from the viewport before the column does, so every laptop carries them, not only a wide monitor.
Narrower, and every phone — two bars, 5 slots eachOne along the top and one along the bottom, each carrying its set past in the opposite direction to the other. They hold still for anybody who asks their device to reduce motion.
